Abigail joined Birketts in September 2018. She is an Associate in our Employment Team.
Prior to joining Birketts Abigail attended Queen Mary University where she studied Law. Abigail went on to study at the University of Law and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2018.
Abigail advises both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues including employment contracts, settlement agreements, managing sickness absence, employment tribunal claims, disciplinary and grievance issues and redundancy.
Abigail also delivers our Shaping Excellence training courses, which provide in house training to clients, covering a broad range of topics including employment law essentials, managing ill-health and disability and employee representative training.
Abigail is recommended and named as a ‘Leading Associate’ by Legal 500 [UK 2025].
Abigail is based in our Chelmsford office.
Abbie is on maternity leave.
