Hayley Songhurst
Hayley joined Birketts in September 2023 as a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation Team.
Hayley specialises in Dispute Resolution and Commercial Litigation including contractual disputes, director/shareholder/partnership disputes, commercial disputes, breach of covenants and disputes in relation to the sale of a business/company.
Hayley has successfully litigated high value and complex disputes in both the County and High Court. She also has experience of the updated disclosure and witness statement rules in the High Court. Hayley has resolved disputes using mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Hayley acts for individuals and businesses across a wide range of sectors and provides comprehensive cost, benefit and risk advice. Hayley takes a commercial view of all matters on which she acts and works to understand a client’s needs and objectives in order to develop a solution best suited to their needs.
Her experience includes contentious insolvency work (acting for office holders and individuals).
