Jessica Richardson

Jessica qualified as a Solicitor in the Family Team in September 2023 and is based in the Cambridge office.
Prior to joining Birketts, Jessica graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge with a First Class degree in law. Jessica then went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and Masters.
Jessica regularly volunteers at pro-bono law clinics and is currently part of a team at Birketts which volunteers with the Anglia Ruskin Law Clinic and Suffolk Law Centre and offers legal advice to help people on their family law matters.
Jessica specialises in offering advice on a wide range of family matters, including children, protective injunction orders, divorce, and financial issues.
Jessica also deals with surrogacy, private adoption matters, declarations of parentage, as well as platonic co-parenting arrangements.
Outside of work, Jessica likes to fundraise and completed a charity skydive for Rowan in April 2022 alongside two other Cambridge trainees raising a total of £1,705.
Jessica also currently plays hockey for Newmarket Hockey Club.
