Robbie Bridgstock
Robbie Joined Birketts in April 2021 and is an Associate in the Real Estate Finance Team in Norwich.
Originally raised in Norfolk, Robbie then studied Geography and Sports Management at Loughborough University before undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Cambridge. He then studied the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law during his training contract.
Robbie began his legal career at a high street firm in Norwich initially as a paralegal in the residential property department before being offered a training contract at the same firm and qualified as a solicitor in April 2021. During his training contract he obtained experience in commercial litigation, litigious probate matters, personal injury and residential property.
Robbie joined as part of the Real Estate Finance Team in Norwich. The team advises a wide range of lenders and borrowers on security over development sites (residential or commercial), investment properties, owner occupied properties and property portfolios. They are regularly instructed by lenders and investors, as well as borrowers and companies seeking finance. Clients include major high street lenders, challenger banks and private funders and they can advise on facilities varying from small business loans to multi million pound facilities.
Robbie’s property work with lenders involves undertaking due diligence and advising on property assets and the preparation and negotiation of loan and security documentation.
Outside of work, Robbie is an avid sportsmen and plays both rugby and cricket for local teams but will happily try his hand at any sports and has recently take up golf.
